Hijab is an Arabic word meaning – ‘barrier or partition’. Hijab is a piece of clothing that is used to cover up a muslimah’s (a female Muslim) body, it isn’t necessarily a small cloth or scarf used in covering the head and neck, it also refers to all other materials used in covering the head and other parts of the body. E.g. Jilbab, Khimar, etc.
An Hijabi is a lady who finds modesty in the way she dresses to suit Allah by making sure to cover her head and other part of the body that aren’t meant to be disclosed.

Dress stylishly and not exposing
If you are a sister that wears trouser like boyfriend Jean, palazzo and so on, and you are always worried about exposing your shape, kimono is one of the best solution. Putting on a kimono will not let the shape be too exposed.

You can also decide to use a jacket (e.g. jean jacket). Preferably, you can pick one that will surely cover your waist and down to the end of the hip.

Baggy trousers/Palazzo
New trend that has had to the beautiful dressing of hijabis are baggy trousers like mom jeans, boyfriend jeans and palazzo. These are used so as to also not allow to much exposure of the body and to also look classy.

Sleeves with t-shirt
There are cases in which you will have to drop that t-shirt you picked because it has short sleeves and you do not want to expose your arms. The best option is to get sleeves to use with that t-shirt or a bodycon top with long sleeves that you can wear underneath the t-shirt.

DISTINGUISH CHADOR FROM KHIMAR
Chador is a full body cloak covering all the body parts including hands and feet, except the face. Chador is most of the times mistaken for khimar.
Khimar is a circular type of headcovering that allows the face to show but covers the hair, neck and shoulder and hangs down the waist or a little bit lower than it. Khimar, most of the time is mistaken for Chador.

Ankle Shoes
Gowns or skirts that do not cover the legs properly can be used with ankle shoes. There are times in which skirts or gowns we wear will not reach the ankle and expose the legs. In other to avoid this and still dress beautifully, ankle shoes can be used.
